Kundarht Films, WETA Washington, the Maryland Historical Society, and the IRC, have received a major NEH grant for the production of a PBS style documentary on the life and work of Benjamin Henry Latrobe. The IRC is involved to recreate virtually the Capitol and the area around Capitol Hill in 1812. This re-creation has proved more challenging than anticipated due to the lack of reliable visual source material. Subsequently the project has expanded beyond the original effort.
